What you will be prepared to do
These outcomes come directly from the reviewed course modules. They describe what the instruction teaches, not a promise that course completion alone qualifies someone for a position or license.
- Explain who must complete Florida's annual ADRD continuing education, how hours may be earned, and why this course does not satisfy the initial training levels.
- Use communication strategies that match the person's stage, language, and senses.
- Explain why people living with dementia wander and identify warning signs and Florida ALF elopement risk duties.
- Partner with families through clear, two-way communication, respect for legal roles, and support during conflict and change.
How the course works
The passing score is 80%. Questions and answer choices are randomized. After three failed attempts, you review the missed modules before receiving another randomized attempt set.
