What you will be prepared to do

These outcomes come directly from the reviewed course modules. They describe what the instruction teaches, not a promise that course completion alone qualifies someone for a position or license.

  • Define a home care agency, a consumer, an authorized representative, skilled home health services, and personal care services as Chapter 26 defines them.
  • Explain how Chapter 26 and Chapter 2 of 6 CCR 1011-1 apply together to a Class A agency, and use the Chapter 26 definitions to classify services, locations, and personnel.
  • Explain how federal law, Colorado statutes and regulations, HCPF program rules, local law, and contracts apply to a Class A home care agency, and build a legal register of obligations with owners and due dates.
